Jeff Priest

I have been a certified casting instructor with the Federation of Fly Fishers since 2000.

             I received my training from Joe Libeu who is a master casting instructor and

                  received my casting certification from Tim Rajeff who is a world distance casting champion.

                     I have also co-taught casting classes with the late Mel Krieger and was the head casting instructor for the 

Sierra Pacific fly fishers for 6 years, with an average of 100 students per class.

  I have tied flies on theater at the Fred Hall show and

had his flies along with an article on Baja published in

“Saltwater Fly Fishing magazine.” 

My photos have been featured on the front page of the

“Dailey News” and in" Fly Fishing in Saltwater.”

   I am a Department of Fish and Game licensed guide who 

lived and fished in Santa Monica for the past 52 years.

I have guided clients to numerous IGFA world record fish and

have shared my passion for the sport with hundreds of

individuals young and old.
