Guided Surf Fishing in the South Bay Area: Includes tippet
material and all flies used that morning. Booking dates and times
are determined by the time and date of tidal flows for the best
fishing (catching & releasing) opportunities.
The purpose of
these outings is designed to be an intensive learning session. We
will discuss gear, knots, presentation (casting, line
control), reading the water for
structure,
long shore currents,
rip currants,
troughs,
pockets
and tidal
flow (neap tides verses spring tides). We will also be
fishing together. The surf zone can be very tricky, this will help
you in learning the proper techniques of line control in many
different situations.
The
idea is to have fun and get the information you need to feel at ease
fishing the surf wherever your adventures take you. With hundreds of
miles of coastline to explore the possibilities are endless!! Your
safety and enjoyment is my # 1 concern!
I will call or
e-mail 2 or 3 days in advance to confirm your day of guided surf
fishing. You never know how "Mother Nature" can change things up,
it's as important to me as it is to you.
(All guided
trips will be held on weekends only).
We practice catch and
release only.
